Euphorbia - Spurge

Euphorbia (yew-FORE-bi-a) Spurge - This is a huge genus that includes such diverse plants as the Poinsettia, Crown-of-thorns, and the Garden Spurges. All have a milky sap in their stems, sometimes irritating to the skin, and inconspicuous flowers surrounded by colorful bracts. All do best in full sun and well-drained soil. Tolerant of drought and, with no serious pest problems, they are easy to grow.
