Filipendula - Meadowsweet

Filipendula (fil-i-PEND-u-la) Meadowsweet - This is a group of valuable plants that deserves much more attention in the garden. They need a rich, evenly moist soil, especially before and during the summer bloom period. Powdery mildew can be a problem in the humid south. A location with good air circulation is the best solution. These plants are long-lived and, although spreading, are not invasive.
