Adiantum - Maidenhairs

(ad-i-ANT-um) Adiantums, the Maidenhair Ferns, are a genus of up to 200 species of delicate looking ferns with 2 to 3 times compound leaves. While delicate & elegant in appearance, our North American species, Adiantum pedatum, The Five Fingered Fern, is quite tough and hardy. Adiantum mairisii is a hybrid cross with great hybrid vigor. Adiantum venustum, the Himalayan Maidenhair Fern, is both attractive & evergreen.
